St. Joseph's Orphanage for Children

Joston is pleased to support St. Joseph's Orphanage for Children in Vembar. Under the watchful care of sisters of the Holy Ghost Parish, over 85 children receive not only food and shelter, but an education as well. We sponsor healthy meals every Sunday for the children.
We are humbled at the opportunity to assist this incredible organization and are indebted to the sisters and the Local Parish Church who give selflessly to assist these children.
The orphanage was closed as a result of the panedemic. During this time, Santiago's great grand children began to supply the funds needed to feed the children whose families could not afford food; consequently, the Santiago Mission was born. We are currently providing meals using local businesses, by using local vendors to supply meals, we are also assisiting in helping them sustain their own business.
